The water content and moisture content of plexiglass increased with the increase of the time of placement, while the tensile strength decreased. With the increase of thickness, the short-term water absorption of plexiglass decreased, the water absorption was similar, and the increase of sample weight caused the decrease of short-term water absorption.

3, impact resistance: the impact resistance of plexiglass is more than 200 times that of ordinary glass, it is not a particularly strong external force, and there is basically no problem of breakage and breaking, and the safety is high.

4, long life: plexiglass can ensure that it will not fade after a long time of use, and the service life of the better quality sheet is as long as 6-13 years.

5, fire resistance: as a building decoration product, fire resistance is necessary, and plexiglass has good fire resistance, will not occur spontaneous combustion, and even has self-extinguishing.


Ordinary glass we contact more, it is a more transparent solid substance, the main component is silicon dioxide, is a non-metallic silicate material. Flat glass with light transmission, sound insulation, heat insulation, wear resistance, heat preservation, heat absorption, radiation and other properties, often widely used in building doors and Windows, walls and interior decoration and so on.
